Transformers 2 Brings in 16 Million in One Night by Pairing Megan Fox with Giant Robots

The picture above was taken last night at the Arclight Theater in Hollywood, where Michael Bay’s latest explode-a-thon Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen became the first film in the theater’s long, famous history to ever sell out all 15 screens for a midnight opening. And according to Fandango, the Arclight wasn’t the only theater selling through tons of tickets — they are reporting that the highly anticipated sequel brought in an estimated $16 million dollars since it opened at 12:01 am this morning.
