Google Blog Talks About HTTPS Security, But Your Email Really Isn't Secure

Google’s really talking about comm-channel encryption, which helps you if you’re worried about the PLA reading nuclear secrets as they pass through hacked routers…not Israeli and Bulgarian teenagers, and certainly not the government. Once your emails are hosted at Google, they, and anyone who subpoenas them, can read your mail all they want.
