Three Cheers for Partisanship

Jay Cost strides bravely into the mess of calls for bipartisanship and cooperation to assert, based on some serious statistical analysis, that partisanship is in fact good for American politics — and that all bipartisanship does is decrease accountability to the electorate. Such an audacious argument deserves reading.
