Byron Dorgan Plans to Blow Up Pharma Deal With White House Over Prescription Drug Importation

Dorgan (D-ND) plans to introduce an amendment allowing the reimportation of prescription drugs. “It’s one of the simplest ways to reduce health care costs but was ruled out by the agreement” between Pharma and the White House. Dorgan says it’s “an immediate way to put downward pressure on health care costs.” Or kill a bill.
