President Obama will meet with Pope Benedict XVI next month in Italy.
Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, announced Wednesday that Mr. Obama will meet Benedict on July 10 “to discuss a range of issues” relating to peace. It is the first time that Mr. Obama will meet with Benedict at the Vatican.
