First Guantanamo Detainee Arrives on US Soil For Trial

Guess who’s coming to dinner: America’s first Gitmo immigrant. “Tanzanian Ahmed Ghailani, a suspect in the 1998 bombings of U.S. two U.S. embassies in East Africa was flown to New York early this morning. He will appear in a Federal Court in Manhattan later today. Ghailani has been held at Guantanamo since 2006.”
