The Goode Family, Mike Judge’s latest television creation inspired by decades living among Austin hippies, premiered last night on ABC. The New York Times review of said premiere is an exercise in acknowledging that Judge’s brand of humor successfully tweaks many of the sensibilities of the NYT/NPR families, while still advising readers to avoid watching.
