Some months ago, I noted on these pages the expected and coming “demise”–pronounced, of course, by the fashionistas on high–of that time-honored fashion article known as “the dress.” Almost a year later–in no small part because of Michelle Obama, I’d add–I am happy to report that this looming danger seems to have escaped us.
