United Nations Approves Religious Criticism Proposal

“The UN’s human-rights body approved a proposal by Muslims nations Thursday urging passage of laws around the world to protect religion from criticism.” Pakistani proposal has attracted fire in the past from free speech, human rights organizations, for legally shielding Islam from any criticism (such as cartoons of Muhammad). Only 11 nations opposed.
