President Obama dodged an awkward decision on executive privilege Wednesday when the House Judiciary Committee and lawyers for former President George W. Bush struck a deal to let aides Karl Rove and Harriet Miers provide private, on-the-record interviews for the panel’s investigation into alleged politicization at the Justice Department.
