Cleanup: Supreme Court to Reexamine Superfund Liability

The current Superfund system was transformed from a clean-up-the-mistakes-of-decades-ago aimed on industrial polluters, to clean-up-anything-and-everything aimed at companies that have no real connection to the environmental damage done. Like asbestos litigation, it makes little sense under normal principles of guilt and causation.
