The Message Is the Message: Selling Obama May End Up Being About Selling Obama

New York Magazine, apparently uninterested in the massive policy changes of the past six months, devotes thousands of words to assessing the selling of Barack Obama as if it were the point. “The President is a content provider.” Yes, but it’s content with a purpose — even if for him, the purpose is him.
