Problems Emerge as Treasurers’ Fear of Next Credit Freeze Shown in Cash Hoarding

Businesses are in “survival mode,” holding onto cash as they fear losing access to capital. “Two years after credit markets seized up and caused the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, companies are hoarding the most cash in at least a decade.” This is one of the reasons we’re not out of the woods.
