McCain to Vote Against Sotomayor, Signaling a Break With Senate Tradition

This will be the first time that Republican Senators McConnell, Hatch, Grassley, or McCain have ever voted against a SCOTUS nominee, marking a distinct break with Senate tradition of bowing to a President’s wishes on the highest court when the vote comes, barring truly extreme issues or disqualification.
