“Two Afghan United Nations staff members were killed and another was wounded, the UN said. Zabiullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, claimed responsibility for the blast in a telephone conversation with the Associated Press.” The bombings that have already claimed other lives should be expected to continue in the run up to Thursday’s elections.
