467K Jobs Cut in June Boosts Jobless Rate at 9.5 Percent: Time To Rent the Couch

America has 14.7 million unemployed people, a number that represents a 26-year high of 9.5 percent. “June’s payroll reductions were deeper than the 363,000 that economists expected and average weekly earnings dropped to the lowest level in nearly a year.” Another jobless recovery (if it’s a recovery) is ensured, and ten percent, here we come.
