The End of General Motors as We Knew It: What it Means for America

It’s bankruptcy time. “The question now facing 56,000 auto workers, 3,600 GM dealers and the Obama administration: Will it work?” Best case scenario, a company with a slimmed-down balance sheet and more achievable obligations remakes itself as the perfect car manufacturer for the country. Worst case scenario, it crashes and burns like a Gremlin.
