After AmeriCorps inspector general Gerald Walpin discovered hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars wasted on community projects run by high ranking donors, the White House takes the high road, calling Walpin “confused” and “disoriented,” after Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill raised questions about whether the firing violated legislation POTUS had supported in the Senate.
