Pakistani Troops Advance into Swat’s Main Town in Assault on Taliban

“The Pakistani Army has just made its initial advance into the Taliban stronghold of Mingora, the main town in the insurgency-racked district of Swat.” Bill Roggio offers his thoughts on the continued assault, questioning whether the lighter-than-expected resistance is a sign of a tactical retreat by the five to seven thousand soldiers of the Taliban.
