General feeling at the White House is that treating all banks equally hasn’t been a good idea, considering how some are more equal than others. Time for “a move that could help more clearly separate healthy banks from the weaklings,” signaling new phase of the financial crisis has arrived. Cutting off a limb, or gangrene?
